NYS mandates that anyone over 5 and under 21, who has not received a high school diploma, is entitled to attend the public schools in the district in which they live. To enroll a student in school, you need to provide the district with certain documentation/information.
Use our enrollment guide and document checklist to make sure you have everything you need to enroll your child in school!

When a child is residing with someone other than their parent, there may be additional forms necessary for you to complete and submit to the school district. We recommend contacting LIAC to discuss these forms and why they may be necessary before submitting them.
